Inus qualified as a dentist from the University of Pretoria (South Africa) in 1989. After nine years in private general practice, he returned to full time study and was awarded the M.Ch.D. (Prosthodontics) degree with distinction in 2001.
During his studies, Inus was awarded the prestigious Colgate Palmolive prize for excellence in research.
He is registered as a specialist in Prosthodontics with the General Dental Council and is an active member of the British Dental Association, the Association of Dental Implantology, the British Society of Prosthodontics and the International College of Prosthodontists.
During his four years of post-graduate studies, Inus underwent advanced training in endodontics, and although he is not on the specialist register for endodontics, he accepts referrals for root canal treatments from colleagues.
Inus has an interest in dental implants and has lectured and published articles on this topic. He has also published articles on dental problems related to scuba diving, and is a keen underwater photographer.
