Almarie qualified as a dentist at the university of Pretoria (South Africa) in 1993. After 9 years in General dental practice she persued her interest in Orthodontics and has been working as a Dentist with a Special interest in Orthodontics in Orthodontic practice since 2002.
At Goossens and Odendaal, she provides self-ligating Damon braces and Clear Braces, as well as Invisalign. Invisalign is a virtually invisable appliance, providing great results using clear plastic aligners for both adults and children. Her favourite part of the job is to see the reactions from her patients when they see how their smile has been transformed.
She is an active member of the British Orthodontic Society and the British Dental Association.
Outside of dentistry, she is a keen gardener and enjoys racket sports.
